Without coin, the majority of the city is quite restricted to you, as that is how the city is fueled. Being in the center of everything, Corinthe is quite boring, it has no true remarkable attractions or geographic figures being sandwiched inbetween the great deserts and the great forests. One can also predict though, that without means of gathering income or having ties to those in high places, that Corinthe could be a rather harsh or boring place. This means it was right inbetween Anequina and Pellitine territories, and if that was the case.who was it controlled by? One would be quick to say the Pellitine due to economical precedence, however we cannot ignore that it has some northern influence as well, as it is not a gilded city like Torval or the less-impovershed sides of Senchal and rather takes on more sand formation architecture like that of Dune or Orcrest.
That also begs the question however, Corinthe was located in Centermost Elsweyr, right inbetween the multiple Elsweyrian Confederacies. Possibly in an open way as well, as to the Khajiit, Thievery is just another means of circulating the economy. The unholy combination of Ya'Tiirje's economical influence and the sheer amount of coin would probably make sense to have one of their own guild halls.
It is also not out of the ordinary to believe that Corinthe had a Thieves Guild as well. For those of more, discerning tastes, it is also believed that Corinthe was in quite close proximity to a Dark Brotherhood destruction before sanctuary purges took place in the late 3E. Like the Imperial City up north in Cyrodiil, Corinthe is possibly the second largest center of Imperial commerce in all of Tamriel.Īside from mentions of it's economical prowess, Corinthe is one of the few if not the only city in Elsweyr to have a Mages Guild Hall before the Mages Guild Schism into the Synod and College of Whispers not long after the Oblivion Crisis. It is insinuated that through his great ties, Ya'Tiirje pulls the stings of economy throught Corinthe and it's great Bazaars, and therefore influences the coin that moves throughout everywhere else. That fact alone specifically brings to mind-Ya'Tiirje, the Gold Cat of Senchal, of which his primary base of operations is located within this particular city. As it currently stands now, Corinthe is the economical center of Elsweyr and possibly the economical center of the Entire empire, sporting massive bazaars of which all manner of things can be found as coin circulates between the fingers of those who control aforementioned bazaars.
Past the scalding hot badlands of the Ne Quin-al deserts and not long before the Great Tenmar Forest of the Pa'alatiin and the Quin'rawl Peninsula lies the humble centermost city of Elsweyr, Corinthe.also known simply as Corinth.
